Hyderabad: Rashtriya Ekta DiwasMarked with Unity Run and Administration of Pledge

Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was celebrated as Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) on October 31, 2022 with holding of Unity Run and Administration of Pledgeat NTPC – Southern Region Headquarters (SRHQ), Hyderabad.

The occasion also marked start of Vigilance Awareness Week (October 31 to November 6, 2022). To create awareness, NTPC-SRHQ has organised both Unity Run and Vigilance Awareness WeekWalkathon in the morning whereinemployees and associatesparticipated in large numbers.

Later, Shri Naresh Anand, RED (South) and other senior officials administered “Rashtriya Ekta Diwas Pledge” and “Integrity Pledge” to all employees in Hindi and English. On this occasion, Shri Mani Kant, GM (HR) spoke on the significance of National Unity Day and Vigilance Awareness Week.

During the Vigilance Awareness Week, programmes like Essay Writing and Slogan competitions are planned for employees andtheir family members as well as for students ofnearby schools.Preventive Vigilance workshop and Vendor Meet (online) are also planned during the week-long celebrations.
