Singareni: Board approves construction of 643 new quarters at a cost of Rs.354 Cr
Construction of new quarters as per the orders of CM Shri K.Chandrasekhara Rao: Construction will be completed in next 18 months. CMD N. Sridhar said in a Statement.

According to the promise given by the CM Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao to the Singareni employees, as part of the construction of spacious double bedroom quarters, it was approved in the meeting of the board of directors to construct 643 new quarters in the second phase, and the construction of these will be completed in the next 18 months, Mr. N. Sridhar, CMD of the company disclosed on Friday.

In the Atmiya Sammelan of Singareni held in Srirampur on February 27, 2018, the State Chief Minister Mr. K. Chandrasekhara Rao assured the workers that the Singareni organization will construct new and comfortable quarters in place of the old quarters throughout Singareni. He said that 1853 quarters have been constructed in the areas and in the second phase, another 643 quarters will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 354 crore.
While 43,000 employees are working in Singareni, 49,919 quarters are available, and as per the directive of the Chief Minister, modern double bedroom quarters are being constructed in place of outdated quarters in the areas where new mines are expanding.
It has been announced that 209 quarters will be constructed in Corporate Area (Kottagudem), 353 in Rudrampur area of Kottagudem area and 81 quarters in Satthupalli area.
