Singareni achieves all-time record in coal production and shipment in Dec 2022

It was mentioned that in the month of December 2022, Singareni has achieved the highest monthly production of 67.2 lakh tonnes of coal in its history, which is 19 percent higher than what was achieved in the month of December last year.
Chairman and MD Mr. N. Sridhar said that an average of 2 lakh 18 thousand tons of coal was transported per day and set another all time record. He called the workers, production and transportation should be achieved during the remaining 3 months with this trend.
On Wednesday at Singareni Bhavan in Hyderabad, he held a review meeting with Singareni directors, advisors and GMs of all areas on the progress of the month of December.

In the last December 2021, coal production was 56.5 lakh tonnes, while in December of this fiscal year, with a growth of 19 percent, coal production was 67.3 lakh tonnes. He also said that while 37.37 million cubic meters of overburden was removed last December, 47 million cubic meters of OB was removed with a growth of 24.47 percent in December of this financial year.
He said that the remaining 80 days of this financial year are very important and that the production and transportation of coal should not be reduced to at least 2 lakh 30 thousand tons per day, so that Singareni will record the highest coal production and transportation in the history of this financial year, thus the highest turnover will be more than 34 thousand crores and the highest profits will be earned. He said that there are opportunities.
At present, he expressed his happiness over the transportation of maximum coal production from Manuguru, Kothagudem, Ramagundam region and Andriyala projects. He called for all areas to move forward with this trend.
