Hyderabad: World Bio-enzyme Day Celebrated at GITAM
GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad celebrated ‘World Bio-enzyme Day’ at its campus on 4th January 2023, in association with the Women’s Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry (WICCI), Bio-enzyme Council, Hyderabad and Bio-enzyme Entrepreneurs Academy of India.

Revathi Macherla, Vice-President, WICCI, Telangana graced as chief guest on this occasion and recalled the services of Dr. Rosukon Poompanvong, the inventor of Bio-enzymes. She taught the process of bioremediation activity to E-Club, Institution Innovation Council (IIC) students, and GITAM Pharmacy Student Association (GPSA). Once again she reiterated the bio-enzyme-making process.

Revathi brought the citrus bio-enzyme (made with orange, lemon, and mosambi waste) and mixed it in the nearby natural water body at GITAM. She said the water would be purified because the enzyme would eat up dirt and bad bacteria. It also increases good bacteria, improves levels of oxygen and nourishes the water plant aquatic life. She cleared all the ambiguities of the students.
