Hyderabad: Subrata Mandal takes additional charge of RED (South), NTPC

Shri Subrata Mandal has taken over additional charge of RED (South), NTPC on January 12, 2023. Currently, Shri Mandal is RED, Western Region-I, Mumbai.

A Mechanical Engineer from NIT Durgapur, Shri Mandal joined NTPC in 1985 as an Executive Trainee (ET).

He has rich and varied experience in the areas of Fuel Handling, Mechanical Maintenance, CENPEEP, Maintenance, O&M and other areas of power plant.

He held several important positions in a career spanning over thirty-seven years and worked at different projects of NTPC like Farakka, ERHQ-I, Singrauli, Kanti (Muzaffarpur) & Bongaigaon. To his credit, Shri Mandal was HOP of Kanti and Bongaigaon as well.
