Joshimath: Land leveling and layout planning work has started for construction of pre-fabricated buildings at Dhak village

Uttrakhand Disaster Management Secretary Ranjit Kumar Sinha has said that the work of land leveling and layout planning has been started for the construction of pre-fabricated buildings in Dhak village of Joshimath.

Talking to media persons in Dehradun, Mr. Sinha said that the entire process is being carried out as per the instructions of Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami.

He said that if required, the affected can be kept in the MLA Hostel in Bharadi Sain. The Secretary said that there has been no increase in the number of buildings with cracks in Joshimath.

Till now, cracks have been found in 863 buildings. 933 members of 218 families have been displaced.
