Telangana: CM KCR unfurled the national flag to celebrate 74th Republic Day
In celebration of the 74th Republic Day, CM Shri KCR unfurled the National Flag at Pragathi Bhavan.Father of the Nation Mahatma Gandhi, Constitution maker Dr. B.R. Ambedkar’s portraits were garlanded and paid homage. On this occasion, he remembered their services to the country.
Ministers Mrs. Satyavathy Rathore, Mr. Mallareddy, MLCs Mr. Palla Rajeshwar Reddy, Mr. Naveen Rao, Mr. Shambhipur Raju, Mr. Madhusudhana Chary, CS Ms. Shanthi Kumari, DGP Mr. Anjani Kumar and others participated in this program.
KCR congratulated the celebrities selected for ‘Padma’ awards
Chief Minister Shri K. Chandrasekhar Rao congratulated many eminent persons from various states of the country including Telangana and Andhra Pradesh who were selected for ‘Padma’ awards.

Every year, the Government of India announces the ‘Padma’ awards in recognition of distinguished services rendered during their lifetime in various fields including social, literary, music, language, spirituality, culture, education, medicine, science and technology.
The Chief Minister said that the role of the ‘Padma’ awardees in leading the society towards quality by showing great talent in their chosen fields as people living community life, with sincerity and realizing the responsibility, is invaluable.
CM suggested that their special efforts in the respective fields across the country will be a guide for tomorrow’s generation and today’s youth should take them as role models.
