GITAM Deemed to be University, Hyderabad, has signed two Memorandum of Understandings (MoU) with the Cheongju University, Republic of Korea, on 9th March 2023 for a period of five years.
The MoU has been signed by Prof. D.S.Rao, Pro Vice Chancellor, GITAM, Hyderabad, Prof. N.Seetaramaiah, Associate Director, School of Technology and Dr. P.Srinivas, Head, Department of Mechanical Engineering and Prof. Yong Jin Chung, Cheongju University, Korea.
This happened in the presence of Prof. K.Rajagopal, Former Vice-Chancellor, JNTUH; Suryaprakash Gajjala, CEO, Archimedes Green Energy; Kim In Ho of JIS; Yang & Kim of ESCO-RTS, Korea; Rinus Merimatues, Inventor, ESCO-RTS, Korea and Break Joon Ho, Principal Investigator of Indo-Korean Research Project. Various authorities and officials of the two Universities also participated in the ceremony.
Cheongju and GITAM, desiring to establish collaborative relations between two institutions, and cooperate in a mutually beneficial association, have agreed that the two institutions shall encourage cooperation in any discipline studied in both institutions.
The two institutions shall seek to promote, the exchange of information and materials that are of mutual interest, exchange between the two institutions of academic and administrative staff, research staff, the internship of students, and flight and technology educational information in aviation other staff mutually agreed upon.
Later, the Korean team interacted with the GITAM students and visited the ongoing research project at GITAM.
