Hyderabad: Workshop on Fraud Analytics at GITAM
Department of Accounting, GITAM School of Business, Hyderabad will organize a one-day workshop on ‘Fraud Analytics & Forensic Accounting’ at its campus on 31st March 2023, in association with International Skill Development Corporation (ISDC). Dr. Gutti R.K.Prasad, Associate Professor and HoD, Accounting has informed in a press release on Friday.
This workshop provides an in-depth look at the latest fraud trends and forensic accounting methods and equips participants with the skills and knowledge needed to protect their organizations.
The objectives of the workshop are- to understand the causes and consequences of Fraud in organizations, to learn the latest trends in Fraud and the red flags to look out for, to learn forensic accounting techniques and how to use them to detect fraud and to understand the legal and ethical implications of fraud and forensic accounting.
UG, PG students, Research Scholars, Faculty members and Corporate executives, Accounting Professionals and practitioners can participate in the workshop. This program will be delivered online – Direct to Device mode.
Ashish Agarwal, Forensic Manager at Deloitte, USA; Satish Ladda, Chartered Accountant, Institute of Chartered Accounts of India; Dr. Abhishek Maheshwari, Associate Professor, Christ University, Delhi and Jyoti Ranjan Nayak, Software consultant and Data Analyst will participate as resource persons to this workshop.
