TS: Keesara MRO Nagraj commits suicide

Former Keesara tehsildar Nagraj, who was arrested in a corruption case, has committed suicide. It is learned that he was recently arrested by the Anti-Corruption Department. However, Nagraj, who was lodged in Chanchalaguda jail, committed suicide by hanging. He is accused in Rs 1.10 lakh bribery case. The ACB investigation into the case has been going on for months. His suicide in this context is alarming.
Nagraj’s body was shifted to Osmania Hospital for postmortem. Former Keesara tehsildar Nagraj was arrested for taking huge bribe in a land dispute. He was arrested and shifted to Chanchalguda jail after ACB officials found a large amount of cash, real estate documents and gold. Along with him, VRA Sai Raj was arrested by ACB officials.

He was caught red-handed by the authorities while taking bribe at his residence in AS Rao Nagar. ACB officials immediately searched Nagraj’s house and office. The arrest ofMRO, who took such a large bribe, became a sensation. It is learned that there is a dispute regarding 28 acres of land in Rampalli which falls under Keesara MRO. Officials said Nagraj demanded a large-scale bribe to clear the land disputes.
